Flashy cell phones, expensive sneakers, branded t-shirt, high-end bikes, and the list can go on and on.
We often observe many college students spending time outside the college campus or in coffee shops or on the streets. Life seems blissful, social media- the second home. Friends are more helpful than parents. The day begins with Tik Tok videos, Instagram photos, and ends with Tinder, pornography or Pubg games.
But my friends! The reality of the future is a lot grimmer than it appears to be.
We know many readers would not agree with me stating that ‘if we do not enjoy your college life then when will we?’
What we really wish to emphasize is that how do we make better use of the time after the college hours. Below are some of the good tips that one May follow that will surely help them in the future without making your college life miserable.
Point # 1 – Internship – Love social media a lot? try working for marketing firms that employ interns with no experience, for social media marketing activities. Do you have a passion for cooking? Visit restaurants or hotels asking whether they require fresh interns. Vacancies for the hospitality sector generally would not be posted on the internet, hence you need to apply personally visiting places. Do you think you are an expert in languages? Try finding blog writing or project write-up internships on the web. Even Facebook and Instagram offer internship ads by the influencers.
Below is a list of websites that help internships and employers meet:

Point # 2 – Learn – Want to try a new language? Give it a try. For your information Mandarin ( Chinese language) is one of the fastest-growing languages in the world. China has trade relations with almost all the countries of the world and the language is quite difficult to learn. Unit intermediary level translation jobs will always be offered to you in the future. Artificial Intelligence is the future and coding is its lifeline. Learn to code for free on youtube channels dedicated to coding.
Here is a list of MOOCs where you can learn new skills:
Point # 3 – Try your business or new business – Your dad may be running a mediocre business. Try spending time and applying your contacts and skills that you possess so that you can help expand your family business or even start a new arm under your leadership. It’s never too late to learn something that you have been seeing right from your childhood. Right?
Another example, your father's business maybe accepting only cash but if you can introduce cashless payments via wallets, e-cards or you can start selling your family business products on Amazon or eBay or Aliexpress.
Point number 4 - Social work – Your heart melts when you see a poor man on the street. How sorry you feel for the little pup shivering at the corner of the road. You can register or join your local social organizations or you can look up the internet and join NGOs. You may find this activity fruitless as many of the NGOs don't pay you. But you get to socialize with important personalities and people who hold a strong position in society. Such contacts will never go in vain; they will always help you back.
Point number 5 - Exercise - Once my friend was jogging on the beach, he said he saw the most contrasting scene of his life. At one corner there were a few young fellows doing drugs and at another a group of oldies sipping green tea or healthy soups that the food truck sold them after jogging. Why do we wait to get old to take care of this God’s gift? Exercise regularly. Not asking to spend the rest of your days in the gym, but a moderate exercise or yoga does a lot to your immunity systems.
Also, we find several guys, who are engineers or consultants by profession but have made fitness their alternate job. They are nutrition consultants or sellers of healthy snack items or even hardcore gym trainers.
The time from your 20s up to 30s will determine what you become in the future; these 10 years are either the toughest or the easiest years for life. Also, starting early has its own advantage. If you read the biographies of all achievers you will always find that they had started young, at the time of the schooling, be it Warren Buffet or Usain Bolt. You can Google the name of such personalities, you would know when they started. So what are you waiting for? Find what interests you and what after your passion obviously make sure that passion helps you earn too.
